Kwanzaa
Kwanzaa is an African-American celebration from 26 December to the 1 January and culminates in a communal feast on the 6th day called Karamu. Each of the seven days of Kwanzaa is dedicated to one of seven principles of Kawaida (common philosophy) and are: Umoja (unity), Kujichagulia (self determination), Ujima (collective work and responsibility), Ujamaa (cooperative economics), Nia (purpose), Kuumba (creativity) and Imani (faith).
