Australia Day
Australia Day is the official national day of Australia and is observed annually on the 26th January. It marks the 1788 arrival of the British in Australia. In present day Australia, celebrations aim to reflect the diverse society and landscape of the nation and is celebrated by community and family events.
Many people still celebrate this public holiday but there are many that want the date of the holiday to be changed.
